Grip N' Rip Club News

Mar. 8, 2010--Video Blog Launch The Grip N' Rip Club launched a video blog that highlights local area instructors as they discuss baseball tips, drills, and fundamentals. Our first episode features Jonathan Pollard from The Stable Baseball Academy, which operates out of Extra Innings-Woburn. Jonathan demonstrates the Two Ball Soft Toss drill with student Sean Loughran- a freshman at St. Johns Prep (Danvers). View the video.

Feb. 11, 2010--Grip N’ Rip Club Baseball Show The Grip N' Rip Club hosted over 200 members of the local baseball community and over a dozen baseball companies at Game On!, inside Fenway Park. The event was run in partnership with Dan Duquette Sports Academy and Kevin Youkilis Hits For Kids. The former GM of the Boston Red Sox answered questions from the crowd. Guests hit in the Fenway Park batting cages. And, members of various youth and amateur leagues took the opportunity to network with each other. $3775 was raised to send children from Kevin Youkilis Hits For Kids to overnight sports camp this summer.
