Feb. 11, 2010--Grip N’ Rip Club Baseball Show
The Grip N' Rip Club hosted over 200 members of the local baseball community and over a dozen baseball companies at Game On!, inside Fenway Park.

The event was run in partnership with
Dan Duquette Sports Academy and
Kevin Youkilis Hits For Kids. The former GM of the Boston Red Sox answered questions from the crowd. Guests hit in the Fenway Park batting cages. And, members of various youth and amateur leagues took the opportunity to network with each other.

$3775 was raised to send children from Kevin Youkilis Hits For Kids to overnight sports camp this summer. [View photos of the event].

The Grip N' Rip Club will be bringing you select tips and strategy advice from CheckSwing.com- a social network for ballplayers and coaches. Through a special arrangement, ballplayers and coaches from CheckSwing will be featured on our baseball tips and strategy page.

At the Christopher's Haven Golf Classic, the Grip N’ Rip Club set up shop on the 16th tee and raised over $1000 for Christopher’s Haven through Grip N’ Rip Club membership sales. Special thanks to Adam Waitkevich from Morgan Stanley for organizing the event and Julie Tremblay from Mortgage Dreams LLC for volunteering her time all day at our booth. [Photos]

The Grip N’ Rip Club worked with Bedford Babe Ruth to collect books for the Kevin Youkilis Hits For Kids Batting For Books campaign. The campaign was designed to collect 100,000 books for Boston Public Schools, where there is a serious shortage of books in their libraries. [Press Release]  ¦  [Photos]

The Grip N' Rip Club announces a partnership with Kevin Youkilis Hits For Kids to raise money for children's charities. The Club will make a donation for every member that signs up for the club. [Press Release]

The Grip N' Rip Club launches its fundraising program for youth baseball and softball leagues. Every membership sale through a league's custom Grip N' Rip Club web page generates revenue for their program.
